Zoom Meeting

All the main workshop activities were held on Zoom.

Other Technologies for collaboration

To help get the collaborative juices flowing during the workshop, we used a few technologies in addition to zoom. Feel free to check out the examples below

Mural : This is like a digital flipchart. It doesn’t require a fast internet connection and allows groups to share ideas simultaneously. If you want to familiarize yourself with Mural, try out the PermafrostNet Data Workshop Bulletin Board.

Thought Exchange : Add your thoughts on a specific question, and ‘star’ thoughts that others have added. We ran a ThoughtExchange survey ahead of the workshop; if you want to familiarize yourself with the platform you can check out the pre-workshop survey.

Content needs for day 3 sessions (Thought Exchange): We allocated two concurrent sessions on day 3 to deal with any topics that needed more time. If there’s something you want to see, or if you want to go deeper into an existing topic, share your thoughts here.

Day 1: Data creation and access problems and solutions

Day 1: Data quality management: Dream List and Bare minimums

Day 1: Open data release: What can we stop doing?

Day 1: End-of-day recap and cross-cutting themes
