
David Moore is an Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) for the Department of Infrastructure of the Government of the Northwest Territories. An experienced leader and professional engineer, David holds a Masters degree (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering, a B.Sc in Geological Engineering, graduation from the Canadian Public Service Direxion leadership program, and has over 15 years of senior management experience in both the public and private sectors. Indigenous (Metis), David has a diverse background that includes leading, developing and engaging people; building and maintaining partnerships, collaboration with stakeholders, program and project management, development of policy, managing large budgets, complex problem solving and leading organizational change. As ADM, David leads a team of professionals with highly diverse technical skills and abilities and oversees professional in-house design services for all types of infrastructure throughout the Northwest Territories including public highways, airports, bridges and a variety of related structures as well as internal and external professional services for the design and renovation of vertical infrastructure such as public buildings.
